this app is awesome! You can join a bunch of "bands" that revolve around different interests (gaming, fashion, food) or even treading topics (adulting, I hate my ex, what are thoooooose?!) you can change your profile setting for each group and be completely anonymous and connect with users who have similar interests or opposing opinions from you. Its a great way to debate or share and learn about things that matter to you! Awesome app for sure

Update Feb 2nd : I still stand by my original review, but Im still awaiting the lock post / thread chats feature! For large Bands, especially for MMO guilds, this needs to be implemented!! Also please bring back the 1:1 feature, when clicking profile. This was useful, now theres too many steps to private chat. ------ I discovered Band after looking for an alternative to Groupme and Line and have been using it for a mmo guild for several months now. Ive personally talked nearly 100 people into downloading it for our guild use and have discovered that it offers everything to keep us connected outside the game, from casual discussions, to being able to make polls on decisions as well as using for guild raid set ups and loot tracking. However, there is one feature I would suggest implementing to the already amazing notification features, and thats the ability to lock thread topics or turn off comments in those sections. When managing a large community of people with multiple Bands, for multiple purposes, an option to cut down on comments in threads would be a welcome addition.

Like the app in general. Frequently, though, I open it only to have it get stuck on the original Band page and never load past. Gets frustrating....

Easy way to manage you clash of clans clan. You can easily use chats and vote using the new polls. Love the calendar.

When its working its great, but when something goes wrong and u have an error there is absolutely no contact info or any help anywhere. Boo.

This app is a huge memory hog and battery vampire. You can barely charge your device fast enough to keep ahead of the drain. Dont leave it running. Itll drain your data plan dry as well.

I would like to see the events calendar have the option to use specific time zones when making events. It can get confusing when people in a Band page are in separate time zones and cant determine which time zone the event was created for/in.

Band is sooo underrated. As far as gaming apps go it is best of the best. Its better than GroupMe, Line, WhatsApp, etc... Its easy to use, has soooo many features and their customer support is awesome. Thank you!

Nice app, and useful for coordinating our family of clans in Clash of Clans. However, on the latest update, words are broken up across lines on iOS. Part of the word is on one line, and the rest of the word is on the next line without any kind of hyphenation.

I used LINE previously and stumbled upon BAND because they’re from the same company. They’re kinda the same, you can use stickers and stuff, but band is more about meeting new people through online communities. Relatively it’s a newer app, but already has a huge variety of fun content to browse through. You can join “bands” or groups and talk to a bunch of people online about your interests. Personally I like using the video game sections, such as League of Legends and Hearthstone, to gain more knowledge about my gameplay. There are also a ton of funny/meme groups to browse through for a laugh or when i’m bored. I like how the app keeps on updating and getting better/easier to use with each update. So far no bugs.

- It is slow in general, and especially when it comes to chats. - Messages take a long time to get delivered sometimes that its VERY annoying. -Should be an option for admins to manually send personalized notifications (of events, polls...) - The notices bar should have more importance and a notification should be sent to all members when something is added there. - You should put an option to choose a band as the primary band. Cz I dont want to go to home tab then choose my band to enter and see the feed. I want to open the app and find the band already open. Cz i only am in one. Stickers are for $1.99 each. Seriously?
